Normally at roof stage for traditional build. For timber frame build windows can be ordered prior to delivery of timber frame kit with sizes given from manufacturer of timber frme kit.
Ideally roof completed , house tracked and slip cills installed for doors(slip cills are a bascially a piece of concrete) which is bedded on cement at finish floor height. This enables us to secure and seal doors properly.
Normal lead time for casement windows is 3-4 weeks. Lead time for sash windows is 5-6 weeks. These lead times are from final meaursing and confirmation of styles and designs.
A new build normally takes 1-2 days depending on size of job. Replacement jobs normally take 2-3 days.
No the greatest of care is taken by our experienced fitting team. All replacement windows are trimmed of on the inside with matching trims and Pvc cill boards are fitted.
Yes we offer a B rated window as standard which exceeds building regulation of C rating. All windows supplied from SWS comes with BFRC approved energy rating certificates.

SWS are now fully accredited members of Network Veka which means that our windows come with a 10 year guarantee backed directly by the manufacturer. If in the unlikley event that SWS ceased trading Network Veka will honour the guarantee by sending another Network Veka supplier.
Yes for building regulations however a dri-master can be installed instead of trickle vents. Check with building control as some councils my vary.
We take great pride in leaving a job well fitted and our clients sastisfied. In the unlikelyhood of any problems we will have someone on site within 1-2 days to have the problem resolved. We can be contacted outside of working hours and at weekends.
